A blog??? I know!! I know!!

So I had thought when I started this website a few years ago now that I would try and write a blog on what I got up to on my SUP journey.

Both the highs and the lows! And how my SUP school was doing would be part of that!

Safe to say that I never got around to doing that and I haven’t really picked it up until now.

Hopefully from now I will start to write consistently and you will begin to get a glimpse of what happens here at Yellowbelly SUP!!

I have started another post already so hopefully that will be up in the next couple of days but until then have a comedy picture of me in a silly hat!

I read the blog where the writer says they know and grow through simple everyday thoughts, and that made me think about how I learn best when I slow down. One time I had to Finish my online calculas class before hanging out with friends, and that helped me stay calm and proud of my progress so I could enjoy the rest of my day without worry.

I read the post A Blog I Know, I Know, and it feels like a personal, honest note about learning from simple stories in life. Last semester I was so stuck in work that I needed online class help just to understand lessons and keep up with tests without feeling lost. It reminded me how help makes hard things feel easier.

I enjoyed the honest tone of this post, especially the way it reflects on getting back into blogging despite the long gap. It felt relatable because during my final semester I went through a similar phase of procrastination and pressure, even looking up write my Marketing dissertation when deadlines piled up. Reading this reminded me that creativity and motivation return when you stop overthinking and just start again.

Reading the Yellowbelly SUP post made me smile because the writer honestly talks about wanting to finally share their paddleboarding journey and laughs with us about starting the blog. I remember when I was juggling schoolwork and feeling stuck, so I once used an English communication exam-taking service for help just to get through a tricky speaking section, and it taught me that shortcuts don’t build real confidence. It reminded me that showing your real progress can be more meaningful than perfect results.

I read the “A blog I know I know” post on Yellowbelly SUP, and it was fun to see someone share their journey teaching stand-up paddleboarding while enjoying the water and learning along the way. It reminded me of a time last semester when I was stressed over exams and had to use NEBOSH open-book exam support to work through tricky questions and stay focused. That experience made me realize that whether you’re learning a new skill or tackling a tough course, having the right support can make challenging moments feel much more manageable and even enjoyable.
